Developing a supportive team at your child’s school

Teachers who are aware of your child’s ADHD diagnosis can help her reach her greatest potential in school. Talk openly with the teacher before the school year begins, so that the teacher can plan how best to interact with your child, develop a process to regularly communicate with you how school is going, and provide adequate team support if your child needs additional help.

If your child attends public school, she may require an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) that will help define and track steps to success with each new school year.

We can help by working with your child’s teacher to develop a plan that provides opportunities for your child to grow, excel and succeed in school.
